Spring is........

It's been a busy last couple of weeks. I started school last week. It's my 7th semester here at BYU-Idaho and it's.... good so far. I don't think I'll be as busy as I was last semester, which is sssooo good. It'll be a lot of fun. It will be even better once the weather starts getting better. Dan started a new job! He's doing, drum role please, potato farming. My mom always said I was going to marry a potato farmer. I would always put my foot down and tell I would never do such a thing. Well I am eating my words... sort of. He's cutting and sorting potatoes to get them ready for the harvest this fall. He'll only be doing this for about 3 weeks and then he got a job with our apartment complex. He'll be helping build another part of our complex. It'll be great because he'll be close that we can have lunch together and it saves us on gas. YAY!

This last weekend we got to go down to Utah and be with Stephen when he took out his endowments. It was really great being there and supporting his decisions he has made. It was also cool because the last time Dan and I were at the Salt Lake temple I was taking out my own endowments. It brought back good memories for us. We got to spend Easter with my Grandma, Mom and Aunt. It was nice to be with them and spend time with them since we don't get to see them very often.

Also the pictures at the bottom are family photos of my immediate family back in.... I want to say December but I really can't remember. It was really windy, if you can't tell. Natalie did an amazing job. Thank you again. Here are a few of our favorites.

I Love to See the Temple, I'm Going There Someday.

Dan and I had the opportunity to go to a wedding of a really good friend of ours. Her and her now husband got married on Saturday in the Salt Lake Temple. It was so beautiful. Although it was snowing, it made for some great pictures for them. I got the honor of being one of her bridesmaids and I was more than happy to be one. We forgot our cameras but a friend of ours took some pictures and I stole some from her. These are just a small preview to how beautiful it was.

Hare Krishna

This last weekend we took a girls weekend and went to the Holi Festival in Spanish Fork. The Holi Festival is a Hindu festival celebrating the arrival of spring. They get together and have food, play music and (the best part) they throw a bunch of colored powder/dust all over the place. Paola and I have been in past years but this was Melissa's and Hanna's first time going. It was so much fun. We surprisingly didn't get as dirty as we have in the past but it was good enough. Afterwards, we got cleaned up and beautified. We took Paola out to The Cheesecake Factory. We got amazing cheesecake and these really delicious fruit drinks. It was a very successful girls weekend.
